Pisco Sour

A Pisco Sour is the national drink of Peru and Chile. It is made with pisco, fresh lime or lemon juice, simple syrup, egg white, and Angostura bitters.

Ingredients

  • 2 fl oz. pisco
  • 1 fl oz. fresh lime juice
  • 0.75 fl oz. simple syrup
  • 1 whole egg white
  • 3 drops Angostura bitters

Directions

  1. 1Combine pisco, lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white in a shaker.
  2. 2Dry shake vigorously for 15 seconds.
  3. 3Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
  4. 4Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. 5Add a few drops of bitters on the foam as garnish.
