Hot Buttered Rum
A Colonial American winter classic — dark rum blended with spiced butter, brown sugar, and hot water.

Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. dark rum
- 1 tbsp. spiced butter batter
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 4 fl oz. hot water
Directions
- 1Mix softened butter with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to make the batter.
- 2Place a heaping tablespoon of batter in a mug.
- 3Add rum and pour hot water over everything.
- 4Stir until butter melts and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
