Espresso Tonic
A modern café-bar hybrid — a shot of espresso floated over tonic water with a citrus twist.

Ingredients
- 1 shot espresso, cooled
- 4 fl oz. tonic water
- 0.5 fl oz. vodka (optional)
Directions
- 1Fill a highball glass with ice.
- 2Pour tonic water into the glass.
- 3Slowly pour the cooled espresso over the back of a spoon to float it.
- 4Garnish with an orange or lemon twist.
