Mint Julep
A mint julep is a mixed alcoholic drink, or cocktail, consisting primarily of bourbon, fresh mint, water, and sugar.
Ingredients
- 2.5 fl oz. bourbon whiskey
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 2 tsp water
- 4 sprigs fresh mint
Directions
- 1Muddle mint leaves with sugar and water in a mint julep cup.
- 2Fill cup with crushed ice.
- 3Pour bourbon over ice and garnish with mint sprig.
