A silky, warming flip made with ruby port, whole egg, and simple syrup — rich, creamy, and comforting.

  1. 1Combine port, simple syrup, and egg in a shaker.
  2. 2Dry shake vigorously without ice to emulsify.
  3. 3Add ice and shake again until well chilled.
  4. 4Strain into a chilled coupe glass and grate fresh nutmeg on top.
