Stone Fence
A colonial American drink combining whiskey or rum with hard apple cider — simple, warming, and historically significant.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. rye whiskey or dark rum
- 6 fl oz. hard apple cider
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Fill a rocks glass or tankard with ice.
- 2Add whiskey and bitters.
- 3Top with hard cider and stir gently.
- 4Garnish with an apple slice.
