Fig Old Fashioned
An autumnal twist on the Old Fashioned using fig-infused syrup and bourbon for a rich, earthy, and slightly sweet cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. bourbon
- 0.5 fl oz. fig syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 1 dash walnut bitters
Directions
- 1Combine bourbon, fig syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain over a large ice cube in a rocks glass.
- 4Garnish with a dried fig and an orange twist.
