Little Italy
A Manhattan variation created by Audrey Saunders using rye whiskey, sweet vermouth, and Cynar for a bittersweet, complex stirred cocktail.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. rye whiskey
- 0.75 fl oz. sweet vermouth
- 0.5 fl oz. Cynar
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
