A stirred Canadian whisky cocktail with Fernet-Branca, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters — brooding and herbal.

Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. Canadian whisky
- 0.25 fl oz. Fernet-Branca
- 0.25 fl oz. simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Combine whisky, Fernet-Branca, simple syrup, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe.
- 4Garnish with an orange twist.
