Aviation
The Aviation is a classic gin cocktail made with gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette, and lemon juice. It is known for its distinctive purple-blue color.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. gin
- 0.5 fl oz. maraschino liqueur
- 0.25 fl oz. crème de violette
- 0.75 fl oz. fresh lemon juice
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- 3Garnish with a cherry.
