Black Manhattan
A variation on the classic Manhattan substituting Averna amaro for sweet vermouth, creating a richer, more herbal drink.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. rye whiskey
- 1 fl oz. Averna amaro
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Garnish with a cherry.
