A rye whiskey cocktail in the Manhattan family, with dry vermouth, maraschino, and Amer Picon for a complex bitter edge.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. rye whiskey
- 0.75 fl oz. dry vermouth
- 0.25 fl oz. maraschino liqueur
- 0.25 fl oz. Amer Picon
Directions
- 1Combine rye, dry vermouth, maraschino, and Amer Picon in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Garnish with a cherry.
