Champagne Cocktail

A Champagne cocktail is a classic cocktail using Champagne as the main ingredient. The original recipe calls for a sugar cube soaked in bitters, topped with brandy and Champagne.

Ingredients

  • 1 sugar cube sugar
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 tsp brandy
  • 4 fl oz. Champagne

Directions

  1. 1Soak sugar cube in Angostura bitters and place in a flute.
  2. 2Add brandy.
  3. 3Top with chilled Champagne.
  4. 4Garnish with lemon twist.
