De La Louisiane
A New Orleans classic with rye, Bénédictine, sweet vermouth, and Peychaud's bitters — complex and aromatic.

Ingredients
- 1.5 fl oz. rye whiskey
- 0.75 fl oz. sweet vermouth
- 0.75 fl oz. Bénédictine
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- 3 dashes absinthe
Directions
- 1Combine rye, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, bitters, and absinthe in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe.
- 4Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
