  1. 1Combine rye, sweet vermouth, Bénédictine, bitters, and absinthe in a mixing glass with ice.
  2. 2Stir until well chilled.
  3. 3Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. 4Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
