Gin Basil Smash
A modern classic created in Hamburg, made with gin, fresh basil, lemon juice, and simple syrup.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. gin
- 1 fl oz. fresh lemon juice
- 0.75 fl oz. simple syrup
- 8 leaves fresh basil
Directions
- 1Muddle basil leaves in a shaker.
- 2Add remaining ingredients with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously and double strain into a rocks glass over ice.
- 4Garnish with a fresh basil leaf.
