A crisp, unsweetened highball of rum, fresh lime juice, and soda water — simple and supremely refreshing.

  1. 1Fill a highball glass with ice.
  2. 2Add rum and squeeze in fresh lime, dropping the spent shell in.
  3. 3Top with soda water and stir gently.
  4. 4Garnish with a lime wheel.
