Whiskey Smash
A bourbon cocktail featuring muddled lemon and fresh mint, a relative of the Mint Julep.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. bourbon
- 3 wedges fresh lemon
- 8 leaves fresh mint
- 0.75 fl oz. simple syrup
Directions
- 1Muddle lemon wedges and mint in a shaker.
- 2Add bourbon and simple syrup with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously and strain into a rocks glass over crushed ice.
- 4Garnish with mint sprig and a lemon half-wheel.
