Brandy Crusta
A 19th-century classic considered a precursor to the Sidecar and Cosmopolitan, featuring brandy with lemon and liqueur in a sugar-rimmed glass.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. brandy
- 0.5 fl oz. orange liqueur
- 0.5 fl oz. fresh lemon juice
- 0.25 fl oz. maraschino liqueur
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Rim a cocktail glass with sugar.
- 2Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake well and strain into the prepared glass.
- 4Garnish with a long spiral lemon peel.
