Lion's Tail
A pre-Prohibition bourbon cocktail featuring allspice dram (pimento dram) and lime juice for a warming, spiced, and tropical flavor profile.
Ingredients
- 2 fl oz. bourbon
- 0.5 fl oz. allspice dram
- 0.5 fl oz. fresh lime juice
- 0.25 fl oz. simple syrup
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake well until chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Garnish with a lime twist.
