Waldorf
A rye-based pre-Prohibition cocktail with sweet vermouth, absinthe, and bitters — bold and full-flavored.

Ingredients
- 1.5 fl oz. rye whiskey
- 0.75 fl oz. sweet vermouth
- 0.5 fl oz. absinthe
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Combine rye, sweet vermouth, absinthe, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice.
- 2Stir until well chilled.
- 3Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Garnish with a lemon twist.
