Singapore Sling
The Singapore Sling is a gin-based cocktail from Singapore. It was developed sometime before 1915 by Ngiam Tong Boon, a bartender at the Long Bar at Raffles Hotel.
Ingredients
- 1.5 fl oz. gin
- 0.5 fl oz. cherry liqueur
- 0.25 fl oz. Cointreau
- 0.25 fl oz. Benedictine
- 4 fl oz. pineapple juice
- 0.5 fl oz. fresh lime juice
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Directions
- 1Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice.
- 2Shake well and strain into a highball glass over ice.
- 3Garnish with pineapple slice and cherry.
